| Cedar Rapids Iowa WWII day(s) The first ever WWII day in Cedar Rapids, Iowa was held at Ushers Ferry Historical Village on Oct 8th 2011. It was a great success with about 200 paid in attendance. As for reenactors, the Soviet 416 Rifle Regiment, the U.S. 82nd Airborn, and the German ________________ were there.  The 416 Rifles camp. (organizers and host of the first time event)   The Nazi swine have over-run the allies positions.  If I retreat - my own capitan shoot me, If I am captured - they shoot my family. So I stand and fight.  Battle is over.  It is easy to go down, much harder to get back up.    | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
